2017
Year the first board left our yard
VK Timber LLC was founded in 2017. The company is located in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region, Ukraine.
VK Timber LLC is engaged in the production of hardwood lumber, both freshly sawn and kiln-dried. We work with ash, oak and hornbeam.
Our company supplies high-quality hardwood lumber to the domestic and foreign markets, mainly to Spain, Italy and Lithuania.

Everything we ship is sawn from logs we buy ourselves and graded on our own yard. You choose the condition; the grading rules stay the same.

Wood species
Ash, oak and hornbeam from central Ukraine
Three hardwoods, all sourced within reach of the mill. Below is what each one is normally used for by our customers.
Ash
Fraxinus excelsior
Light, elastic and shock-resistant, with a pronounced open grain.
Oak
Quercus robur
Dense, hard and durable, with high resistance to wear and moisture.
Hornbeam
Carpinus betulus
One of the hardest European hardwoods, pale and even in colour.
Production
From log yard to loaded truck
Four stages, all on one site in the Kremenchuk district. Nothing is subcontracted, so we answer for the result ourselves.

Log intake and sawing
Logs arrive at our yard, are measured and sorted by species and diameter, then sawn on our own line.

Sorting and grading
Boards are graded by thickness and quality, stacked with stickers and prepared for the chambers.

Kiln drying
Drying runs under a schedule matched to species and thickness. Final moisture is verified with a meter, pack by pack.

Packing and loading
Packs are strapped, labelled and loaded onto trucks with the documents your customs clearance needs.
